Codecast

ISRC Embedder

Embed an ISRC directly into a music video or audio file. Video codes go into the same field Premiere's export panel writes to; audio codes go into the ID3 TSRC frame, the field the specification reserves for an ISRC. Either way the code travels with the file, and is confirmed on the spot rather than just entered on a form.

MP4 and MOV video, and MP3 audio. The file type is identified from the file's own contents, not its extension, and the right field is written for each.

Catalog Audit

Drop in multiple videos or MP3s — or a whole folder of them — at once. Works even on files with no ISRC embedded yet — reads each filename (e.g. "Artist - Title.mp4"), looks up the correct ISRC, and flags anything missing, wrong, or already correct. Filename guessing isn't perfect — correct the Title/Artist fields below any result and hit Recheck if needed.

Videos and audio files can be mixed in the same batch. Each is judged against the code that belongs in it: a video against the recording's distinct video ISRC, an audio file against its own audio ISRC. A video ISRC sitting in an MP3, or an audio ISRC sitting in a video, is flagged either way round.

Everything runs in your browser, so larger batches use more of your device's memory. For the smoothest experience, keep batches to roughly 10–15 typical music videos at a time — bigger batches will likely still work, just slower, and very large ones on an older device or phone may struggle. MP3s are far smaller, so batches of those can be much bigger.
